The user the client is attempt to contact can also communication outsider their organization and is using Teams. The client can communicate with me (who is outside his organization). I have again confirmed the settings to communication outside the organization and with Skype are on. The status with the unknown status is the chat which he receives the error when sending the message.įinally they CAN message each other in teams if they do it via a email. The one that shows the clients active status is the chat long which he can't message in. Try again later.Īnd in Teams the client now shows two contacts for the client. They each get the error "We ran into a problem sending this message. If the client clicks the link to continue the conversation it takes them to a new chat, but they are unable to reply to each other. (notice you can see the external user's status) I have verified that the organization he is in does have external on as well as communication with Skype. If the client goes to message the user they get an error Due to policy changes some chat and calling features are no longer available. The other external user is also using teams and can received messages from other external users of their organization. I have a client who is unable to message a specific users outside the organization directly in Teams.
