In 2011, CD Projekt RED continued the white-haired monster hunter's saga in The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, and today The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be released, bringing the trilogy to a conclusion. Featuring spectacular graphics, a large game world, an engrossing story, and lots of satisfying action, the little-hyped title catapulted Polish company CD Projekt into the limelight, resulting in the creation of CD Projekt RED, now one of the world's leading game developers.
In 2007 they formed the basis of The Witcher, an action role-playing game built by a previously-unknown studio that specialized in localization.
